Time spent with God....
It would be a mistake not to mention prayer before closing these reflections. The funny thing about prayer is that sometimes people overcomplicate it. When you care about someone, you communicate with them, sometimes just sitting in this person`s presence. Because you care deeply for this person, you wish them the very best; in other words you bless him. When a person does something great, you offer praise., Certainly thanking those you care about is important for deepening a relationship. If you offend, you apologize. and a true friend isn`t afraid to ask the other for help. Simply put, these usual ways of communicating roughly parallel several ways we should pray to God: Contemplation, meditation, blessing, praise, thansgiving, petition (including contrition), and intercession.

So take some time this summer to communicate with God through prayer; you and your family will be glad you did.....
